Senior Embryologist

Senior biologist specialised in laboratory quality assurance and control and genetic engineering techniques.


In 2004 she graduated from the Faculty of Biology at Babes Bolyai University, Cluj Napoca and supraspecialized in genetic engineering techniques, obtaining a Master’s degree.

She continued her specialization in assisted human reproduction techniques in 2006, at a prestigious fertility centre in Vienna, together with pioneering specialists in the field of in vitro fertilization.

In 2010 she gained European recognition as one of the first Romanian specialists accredited by the European certification organization for embryologists (European Society of Reproductive Medicine and Embryology).

For 8 years he worked as a specialist embryologist in a recognized center of assisted human reproduction, where he successfully led the work of the in vitro fertilization laboratory, together with the team of specialists in Vienna, and since 2010 he contributed to the development and coordination of a new IVF laboratory.

He is a trainer in the education of new specialists in the field of embryology and assisted reproduction, thanks to the skills he has acquired through numerous international courses and the experience he has gained over the years.

Since 2014 he has joined our team performing highly complex micromanipulation techniques, through his outstanding skills contributing to the reporting of the first babies conceived from vitrified oocytes, and is currently the coordinator of the embryology laboratory.

He is an active member of the European Society of Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and of the Order of Biologists and Biochemists of Romania. He has participated in numerous national and international congresses, presenting, together with a team of embryologists, scientific papers in the field, including: “Vitrifying blastocysts derived from vitrified oocytes injected with frozen sperms. New trends in the ivf practice” and “Accesibility of the assisted reproduction technologies for treating infertility in Romania”, “Healthy birth in a case of Total Globozoospermia after intracytoplasmatic sperm injection and assisted oocyte activation”.
