Dr. Coricovac joined our team in 2010 and coordinates the activity of the in vitro fertilization laboratory, as an experienced specialist, after many years of improvement in advanced medical techniques. She graduated from the University of Medicine in 1998, then the residency in obstetrics-gynecology. She worked for 9 years in the Clinical Hospital “Panait Sarbu” as an obstetrician-gynecologist and embryologist in the Department of Assisted Human Reproduction and also collaborated with several private clinics before joining us.
She specialized in Austria in embryology and reproductive techniques of great complexity; she attended other advanced training courses in Italy, Greece, Germany, Belgium and Spain in the field of embryology and quality assurance in the laboratory. She is accredited by the European certification organization for embryologists (European Society of Reproductive Medicine and Embryology) and holds a PhD in Medicine, her doctoral dissertation “The impact of predictors on success rates in assisted human reproduction” being appreciated good practices in assisted human reproduction procedures.
Dr. Coricovac performs complex micromanipulation techniques and has obtained tasks in extremely difficult cases, such as ICSI with sperm obtained by testicular biopsy.
Dr. Coricovac carries out didactic and academic activity, the experience gained over the years involving her in numerous interdisciplinary teams within national or international research projects. She participated in numerous national and international scientific meetings, supported and published, as an author or co-author, scientific papers in specialized journals.
She has been included in national and international working groups on research and statistical studies, as a representative of the Ministry of Health and, as a trainer, for specialists and mayors in the “Program of complementary studies to obtain certificates for doctors – Infertility treatment couple and assisted human reproduction – in vitro fertilization ”.
Dr. Coricovac is Vice President of the Romanian Society for Fertility and Assisted Reproduction Association and a member of several professional societies in the field of assisted reproduction, including the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).
