Recommendations for harvesting analyzes

(Pap test, col cultures)

  • Avoid sexual intercourse 48 hours in advance
  • Do not wash vaginally 48 hours in advance
  • Do not use vaginal medication (eggs, creams)
  • Avoid menstruation at the appointment
In the case of investigations with general anesthesia:
  • Blood tests may be required in advance
  • Do not eat at least 6 hours before
  • Do not consume fluids at least 2 hours before
  • Do not use nail polish on your fingernails
Recommendations before hysteroscopy or endometrial biopsy:
  • Avoid menstruation
  • Notify if you have had altered vaginal discharge
  • Notify if you have a menstrual delay
  • A pregnancy test may be required
  • Administer an anti-inflammatory (ibuprofen) 30 minutes before
In the case of special tests (ERA, EMMA, ALICE):
  • The doctor recommends the medication and the date of appointment
  • Do not take medication not approved by your doctor 7 days in advance
  • Avoid sexual intercourse 48 hours in advance
  • Do not perform vaginal washings before
